Floyd Clonch

Mr. Floyd Edward Clonch, 67, of Hudson passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice. He was born in Caldwell County on October 1, 1949 to the late Gladys Clonch Bentley. He was a member of Mountain Grove Church and retired from Comscope where he worked for several years as a truck driver. Mr. Clonch is survived by his wife, Kathleen Hollingsworth Clonch; children, Duane Clark and wife, Christi of Gamewell; Kitt Ritchie of Hickory; grandchildren, Avery Clark and Natalie Clark; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ed Warren officiating. Inurnment will be at Sunrise Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Sunrise Baptist Church, 2643 Mission Road, Hudson, NC 28638.
