Jerry Eugene Crump

Jerry Eugene Crump, 86, passed peacefully in his sleep on April 3, 2024. He was born on May 24, 1937, in Caldwell County, to the late Donald and Katherine Crump. Jerry worked at Fairfield Chair for over 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Paul Younce. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Crump; sisters, Mary Hamby and husband Jim, Trudy Chester and husband Robert; daughter, Dawn Wilcox; son, Derek Crump and partner, Virginia Kirby; daughter, Donna Younce and husband Joel; son Jack Carlton; grandchildren, Preston Barnes and wife, Leah; Jordan Wilcox and wife, Shianna; Sarah Trivette and husband, Zack; Alex Carlton and wife, Erin; Jennifer Haas and husband, Brad; Christina Carlton and Nick; and many great grandchildren who adored him including Emmett, Holley, Addison, Levi, Connor, Walker, Skylar, Brantley, Owen; and his furry friend, Mindy.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jim Hamby officiating.
