Everett Jerry Day

Everett “Hobo” Jerry Day, 69, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at his residence in Lenoir. Everett was born on May 25, 1952 to the late Everett Lee Holman and Ruby Barnett. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sherrie Greer Day; daughters, Shanna Ashe, Melissa Day, Kay Greer, and Casey Greer; son, Chad Day; nieces, Jessica Wade, Danielle Greer and Tabatha Greer; nephews, Mark Day, Erin Greer, and Jimmy Day; sisters, Nancy McCall, Linda Lewis, and Norma Hopson; brothers, Coy Day, Dallas Barnett, Damon Hodge, Eddie Holman, and Jimmy Hodge; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Hobo was a very hard worker and loved his family dearly and will be missed forever. A 11:00 AM funeral service to honor Everett Jerry Day will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at College Avenue Baptist Church in Lenoir.
