Evelyn Deviney Walsh

Boomer, NC - Mrs. Evelyn Louise DeViney Walsh, age 56, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Walsh was born in Caldwell County on March 18, 1955 to the late Joseph C. DeViney and Virginia Faw Deviney and was the wife of Kenneth Walsh of the home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia Lee Walsh, and her brother, Ray DeViney. Other than her husband she is survived by her son, Curtis Walsh of the home; her brothers, Thurmond DeViney and Marshall DeViney and wife, Liz; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 12:00 Noon with Dr. Rick Crouse officiating. The family will receive friends at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 10:00 until 11:00.
