Eugene Edward Coffey

Eugene Edward Coffey, Sr., age 73, of Lenoir, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Carolina’s Medical Center.He was born January 10, 1946 in Watauga County to the late Georgia Agnes Gragg Coffey and Jospeph Levi Coffey.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Floyd Bruce Coffey; granddaughter, Taylor Lace Lasha Coffey; son, Anthony Edward Huggins; and son-in-law, Kenneth Wayne Davis, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Anita H. Coffey; son, Eugene Edward Coffey, Jr.; daughter, Tonia Lynn Toon and husband Billy; brother, Larry Wayne Coffey; grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Davis, Jr., Kaleb Alexander Toon, Dawson Turner Coffey, Nikkole Hegney, and Markus Skiff; one great-grandson, Eli Graham Davis; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
