Etta Coffey Hamby

Mrs. Etta Coffey Hamby, age 64, of Archdale, formerly of Lenoir, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Etta was self-employed at Hambicraft Antique Reproductions and later retired form American Express. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Hamby of the home; two sons, Barry Hamby of the home and Gregory Hamby, wife Shannon, of Randleman; four grandchildren, Levi, Kaylee, Hunter and Morgan Hamby; three step grandchildren, Steven Williams, Brittany Hill and David Ellis; she is also survived by three sisters, Catherine Abernathy, Rachel Philyaw and Linda Triplett; two brothers, Clarence and Cloyd Coffey, all of Lenoir. A graveside celebration of Etta’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Confidence Advent Christian Church Cemetery at 4040 Confidence Church Road in Lenoir. Officiating will be Reverend Norm Sherwood.
