Ethan Tyler Braswell

Boomer, NC- Ethan Tyler Braswell, age 17, of Boomer, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Born July 27, 1991 in Burke County, Ethan was the son of Dean and Shelby Armentrout Braswell of Boomer. Ethan was a 2009 graduate of Hibriten High School where he participated in weight training. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents, Harry and Ruby Braswell and his maternal Grandfather, Lewis Armentrout. Other than his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Nathaniel Drew Braswell of the home; Arron Thomas Braswell of Purlear; his maternal Grandmother, Frances Armentrout of Lenoir, his Step-Grandmother, Margaret Taylor Braswell of Lenoir and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A celebration of Ethan’s life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 12, 2009 at Lower Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Eric James officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, June 12, 2009 from 9:00 until 11:00 AM, prior to the service at Lower Creek Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be: Andrew Woods, Trent Reynolds, David “Petey” Brookshire, Ethan Dillard, Jordan Jones, Steven Bell, Lewis “Skeet” Armentrout, III and Chris Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zackary Trivette and Dago Lainez.
