Mr. Ervin Atlas Bryant, age 84, of Lenoir passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at his home.
Born September 16, 1937 in Caldwell County, Ervin was a son of the late Ivy and Nancy Triplett Bryant. Ervin was a veteran of the United States Army. His favorite hobby was raising roosters. Ervin enjoyed traveling and will be remembered for his smile and the love he had for his family. He was full of life and always joking with others. Ervin was known as a father figure to many of his family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Bryant; two sisters, Betty Craig and Nova Jo Watts; a brother, Lonnie Bryant.
Survivors include his daughters, Phyllis Moody, Tracy Enloe and Jennifer Thompson (husband Charles); a son, Greg Bryant; his grandchildren, Casey Moody, Jacob Moody (wife Racheal), Alexis Bryant, Jordan Correll, Tate Correll, Luke Enloe, Ben Enloe, Madison Thompson, Hunter Thompson and Sydney Bryant; his great grandchildren, Keyon Dula, Rylee Dula, Savannah Moody, Jeremiah Moody, Alice Nightingale, Brock Nightingale, Aubrei Moore and Athena Racicot; he is also survived by numerous other relatives.
A celebration of Ervin’s life will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 4:00 PM with Ray Main officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
