Elsie Mae Coffey

Hudson, NC- Elsie Harmon Coffey, age 89, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Caldwell Hospice. She was born in Caldwell County on February 23, 1925 to the late Philo Harmon and Sarah Ford Harmon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ira Edwin Coffey; brothers, Ellis Harmon, Alseen Harmon, Willard Harmon, Dillard Harmon, John Harmon, Bobby Harmon; sisters, Barbara Justice and Irene Jones. Mrs. Coffey is survived by her sons, MacDonald Harmon, Gary Coffey, Dale Coffey; daughter, Karen Coffey and partner, Sherry Robbins; daughter, Sarah Baker and partner, James Triplett; brother, Jerry Harmon and wife Rose; Sister, Mary Allen and husband Buddy; grandchildren, Mandy Harmon, Stacy Burgess and husband, Chris, Willy Baker and wife, Casey, Cheryl Coffey and partner, Bill Gulda, Wesley Coffey, Chelsea Baker; great-grandchildren, Aidan Burgess, Kaylee Burgess, Jaxon Burgess, Laney Baker, and Skylar Gulda. A memorial service for Mrs. Coffey will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 5:00 with Pastor Marvin Ford officiating.
