Lenoir – Mrs. Ella Mae Williams Keener, age 56, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington. She was born in Iredell County on January 27, 1958 to the late Charlie Williams and Paralee Price Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Terry Brown and her brother, Charlie Williams, Jr. Mrs. Keener is survived by her ex-husband, Tim Keener; daughter, Sonya Miller and husband, Travis; son, Ernest Eugene Brown and wife, Keisha; step-daughter, Christina Williams and husband, Daniel; step-son, Timmy Keener and wife, Crystal; brothers, Roy Williams of Statesville; Gene Williams of Evergreen, NC; Jim Williams and wife, Rosemary of Lenoir; Toy Williams and wife, Mary of Lenoir; J.C. Williams and wife, Annette of Lenoir; sisters, Martha Hendrix and husband, Raymond of Lenoir; Marnell Howell and husband, Jake of Lenoir; grandchildren, Luke Miller, Nathan Brown, Lea Miller, Kenley Brown, Laban Miller, Griffin Brown, Lilly Williams, Maverick Williams, Hayley Belle; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
