Ella Plemmons Greene

It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of Ella Plemmons Greene, on April 16, 2025, at home of natural causes. Born November 13, 1934, in Madison, NC. She was preceded in death by husband Dennis Greene, married for 64 years and son, Dwayne Greene.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children Laura Suguiyama, Marjorie Long, Olivia Pitts, and Rodney Greene. Grandchildren, Yuri Suguiyama, Erica Campbell, Emily Long, Tyler Long, Ashley Vines, and Bethany Capell. Greatgrandchildren, Wagner Campbell, Brooks Campbell, Luke Suguiyama, Hudson Capell, Kai Suguiyama, and Ellie Capell.

She retired from the Lenoir Post Office as a rural mail carrier after 19 years.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at Lenoir Church of Christ. Date and time of service can be accessed on Evans Funeral Service website evansfuneralservice.com when determined.
