Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Davis Triplett, age 69, of Lenoir went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Caldwell Hospice in Hudson. Born June 20, 1950 in Avery County, Elizabeth was a daughter of the late Hubert Jack and Anna Mae Davis. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Hartland Baptist Church.She was active with missions at the church, including, the Christmas boxes for Samaritans Purse and helping with Bible School.She retired after 31 years of service as a Kindergarten teacher at Gamewell Elementary.Some of Elizabeth’s hobbies included sewing, especially quilting, and cooking.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Davis. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Lonnie Triplett; a daughter, Candace Triplett; a son, Chad Triplett (wife Wanda); Two sisters, Betty Thompson and Anna Ruth Forbes; Two brothers, Ralph Davis and Joe Davis; her four grandchildren, Steph Triplett, Ethan Combs, Zachary Combs and Logan Triplett; two special nieces, Michelle Morrison and Bettina Roberts; her grandnieces, Candra Thompson and Jayln Thompson; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hartland Baptist Church, 3730 Hartland Road, Morganton, NC28655.
