Elizabeth Lail Laws

Hudson,NC- Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Lail Laws, age 66, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Lail was born in Burke County on December 27, 1944 to the late James Leonard and Margaret Berry Lail. Mrs. Laws was a member of Central Baptist Church for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Johnny and Jimmy Lail; one sister, Mary Monroe; and one great-grandson, Keegan Price. She is survived by her children, Donna Laws, Tina Crismon and husband Darrel, Douglas Laws, Sr., Eva Loveless, Alan G. Laws, Sr., and Terry Laws, and wife Ginger; sisters, Linda Price, Hazel Cole, LoVean Schronce, Helen Smith, Leda Elmore, Libby Helms, and Jennie Lail; brothers, Rex Barfield, William Lail, and Max Lail; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church on Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 PM with Pastor John Jernigan officiating.
