Elizabeth Grinarml

Lenoir – Maude Elizabeth Starnes Walker Grinarml, 101, of 318 Arrowood Street died on May 11, 2019. She was born on April 5, 1918 to the late William Henry Starnes and Velma Smith Starnes Curtis. Elizabeth was married to the late Edward Grinarml. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers John H. Starnes, William Curtis, Robert Curtis, and Alfred Curtis; her step-father Ralph Curtis; and one grandchild. She is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Jean Martin of Chilhowie, VA and one son, Ronda H. Walker and wife Geraldine of Sneads Ferry, NC. She is, also, survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many, many great-great-grandchildren. She, also, leaves behind two special nieces and a nephew. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 15 at Evans Funeral Chapel for one hour, beginning at 1:30 pm. There will be a graveside service following the visitation at Tabernacle Advent Christian Church cemetery.
