Eleanor Foster

Eleanor Johnson Foster, 84, of Lenoir, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care – Robbins Center.She was born January 25, 1936 in Scotland County, NC to the late Martin Johnson and Inez Johnson.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Foster. Survivors include children, Edwina “Shay” Morrow, Meredith L. Foster, and Edgar Gerard Foster and wife Sylvia; grandchildren, Brian Foster, Michelle Gill, Paul Morrow, Jr., and Daniel Beckert; two great-granddaughters, Kimora Gill and Aaliyah Gill; two great-grandsons, Mykavion Gill and Tykavion Gill; niece, Lynda K. Foster; siblings, Amanda Bond, Martin Johnson, Alexander Johnson, Martha Johnson, and William Johnson. Eleanor retired as an elementary school teacher after 30 years teaching in local schools.She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 40 years.She was always smiling and loved people.She enjoyed studying the Bible and had a love for Kingdom songs.She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
