Edward Spears

Lenoir- Mr. Edward Kent Spears, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. He was born in Caldwell County, NC on May 10, 1965 to his parents RJ and Ina Mae Spears. He was married to Lesia Spears of the home. Mr. Spears is also preceded in death by his sister Rita and husband Johnny Gragg. The special joys of his life were his children Tyler Townsend and Jessica LeFevers and husband Kyle. Other than his parents and wife, Mr. Spears is survived by four brothers Gary Spears and wife Carol, Roger Spears and wife Mackie, David Spears and wife Teresa, and Keith Spears and wife Deborah. He also is survived by one Sister Cathy Parlier and husband Harold. He also had nieces and nephews too numerous to name. A funeral service honoring Mr. Spears’s life will be held at Confidence Advent Christian Church on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00 in the afternoon. Reverend Norm Sherwood officiating. Internment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
