Mr. Edward Grant Smith passed away September 30, 2021. Grant was born September 2, 1953 in Watauga County to the late Mitchell and Clara Smith. His is survived by his sister, Sandra Libera of Lenoir and his brother, Keith Smith and wife, Karen of Morganton. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Guy (Johnson) Cemetery in Newland, NC. Pastor Raymond Spann will be officiating.
