Edmond Dale Walker

Edmond “Dale” Walker, 79, of Lenoir passed away on October 25, 2022 surrounded by his family. Dale was born in Caldwell County to the late Roby and Thelma Walker on August 14, 1943. He was married to the late Marsha Walker for 36 years. Dale worked as a machinist at the former Deal Systems of Granite Falls, NC. He was a member of Poarch Chapel Missionary Methodist Church. Dale loved to spend time golfing, target shooting, attending church, and watching classic movies. He will be missed by many family members and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Dale is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Walker, and a sister, Carolyn Walker.

Dale is survived by his children Sherry White; Todd Walker and wife Crystal; Tony Walker and wife Charlotte; Crystal Hoyle and husband Robbie; step-son Michael Smith; and step-daughter Lisa Hoyle and husband Clint. He is survived by his grandchildren: Phillip Moody; Matthew Moody; Christopher Carlton; Jacob Walker; Allyson Walker; Jessica Walker; Bradley Walker; Taylor Hartley; and Kayleigh Hoyle. Dale leaves behind a brother, Jeffery Walker and wife Carolyn; a sister JoAnne Beane and husband Ronnie; several great-grandchildren; and many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Poarch Chapel Missionary Methodist Church.
