Edith Crouch

Mrs. Edith Florence Mikeal Crouch, age 81, of Hudson, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation in Granite Falls. Born May 20, 1935 in Caldwell County, Edith was a daughter of the late Boone and Louise Mikeal. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Knolan L. Crouch; her brothers, Clyde Mikeal, Earl Mikeal; her sisters, Grace Russell, Gladys Caldwell and Juanita Suddreth. Survivors include her children, Deborah “Debbie” C. Shell (husband Greg) of Hudson, and Keith Douglas “Doug” Crouch of Hickory, and Jana Crouch of Hudson; her grandchildren, Chad Crouch (wife Tiffany), Matthew Shell (wife Sonya) and Mark Shell; her great grandchildren, Madison Crouch, Brooklynn Crouch, Isaac Shell, Kaitlyn Shell and Kendyll Shell; she was also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Edith’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hudson with Pastor Mack Jarvis officiating.
