Eddie Wayne Bradshaw

It is with great sadness that the family of Eddie Wayne Bradshaw announces his passing after a brief illness, on Monday, September 17, 2018 at UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill at the age of 71 years.Wayne was born in Burke County on October 8, 1946 to the late Coy and Ethel Mae Carroll Bradshaw.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, the Reverend Boyce Bradshaw. Wayne was a faithful Christian, humble servant, and a friend to all that knew him.He was a faithful member for over thirty years at Lenoir Community Church where he served as a deacon.He was a talented artist and an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting and fishing and his companionship with his dog, Lulu.Wayne will be forever remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, stepfather, and uncle. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Janice Marie Anders Bradshaw; stepchildren, Robin Tingen and Dean and Shannon Parsons and Melissa; grandchildren, Taylor Parsons and William Tingen; great-grandson, Elliot Parsons; brothers, Arthur Leroy Bradshaw, Eugene Coy Bradshaw and Katie, and Kenneth Nelson Bradshaw and sister-in-law Dorris Bradshaw.He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Lenoir Community Church conducted by Pastor Daniel McGee.The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 pm at the church.
