Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Martha Earlene Triplett Hoyle, age 76, of Lenoir, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. Born February 11, 1940 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Don and Margaret Louise Killian Triplett and the wife of the late James Carl Hoyle. Mrs. Hoyle was an active member of Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church and dearly loved her church family. She had retired from Kincaid Furniture as an inspector. Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Doris Triplett Barnhardt and a brother, Wayne Triplett. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Teague and husband Bob of Mooresville; Tamara “Tammy” Milhorne of Hudson; her son, Mark Allen Coffey of Hudson; one sister, Judy Forbes of Granite Falls; three brothers, Cecil Triplett and wife Brenda of Lenoir; Douglas Triplett and wife Brenda of Hudson, Jerry “Pete” Triplett and wife Janice of Midland; seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Mrs. Hoyle’s life will be held at Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Nicky Waters officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 prior to the service.
