Dorothy Mae Hatton

Boomer, NC- Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hatton, age 86, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Lenoir Healthcare Center in Lenoir. Dorothy was a very loving and giving lady. She was a homemaker and loved what she did. She loved all her Great Grandchildren. She loved feeding her cats and gardening. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Finley Hatton; a son, Clifford Hatton; and numerous siblings. Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Kenneth and Rhonda Hatton; grandsons, Todd Campbell and Chris Hatton; Eleven great grandchildren and numerous siblings and other relatives. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Jobie Borders officiating. Interment will follow in the Livingston Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
