Doris Triplett

Lenoir- Doris Story Triplett, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 26, 2019. She was born in Caldwell County on November 7, 1946 to the late Spencer and Eula Story. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Triplett and her son, Larry Triplett, daughter, Lisa Triplett and her sister, Barbara Triplett. She worked 14 years in a cotton mill and retired after more than 32 years at Bernhardt Furniture Plant 7. She also sang with the Triplett Gospel for 14 years, taught Sunday School and played the piano at Liberty Baptist Church in Valmead for 6 years. She became a member at Meadowbrook Baptist Church and taught youth for a year. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Gragg and Kim Triplett both of Lenoir; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens onTuesday, October 29, 2019 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Roger Beck officiating.
