Doris Sams

Kernersville, NC – On the wings of a snow white dove God sent his pure sweet love on September 29, 2010 and took His child Doris Ann Sams Cox home to be with Him.  She was the wife and soul mate of Gary Cox of Kernersville, who is the son of Quincy and Charlotte Cox of Greensboro.  Ann was the daughter of O.V. Sams of Parrotsville, TN and Pauline Beshears of Morganton. Ann was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Beshears and her sister, Donna Jean Sams.  She is survived by her daughter Crystal Masters and husband, Tim of Kernersville; stepdaughter, Charlotte Harrsion; grandchildren, Candice Sams of Lenoir and Brandon Huskins of Kernersville; step-granddaughter, Brooke Harrison of Greensboro; brothers, Chris Sams and partner, David Icard of Lenoir, Dale Sams of Morganton, Dwaine Sams and wife, Rita of Parrotsville, TN, and David Sams of Jacksonville, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Lawndale Baptist Church, 3505 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro, NC 27408 In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be sent to: Wig Bank of Caldwell County, P.O.
