Donnie Jeffery White

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Donnie Jeffrey White, age 64, of Lenoir, died Friday, August 28, 2009 at his home. Donnie was born in Wilkes County on February 16, 1945. He was a son of the late Jesse and Ida Lou Walker White. Donnie had worked for Broyhill for many years. He was Baptist by faith and attended the Blue Ridge Baptist Church. Donnie was a shade tree mechanic and enjoyed being with family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, and a wonderful grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin White; two grandsons, Cameron Barlow and Joshua Barlow; and several nieces and nephews. Surviving are his wife, Patsy Wood White of the home; two daughters and sons in law, Donnia ?Boo? and Peanut Watson of Lenoir, and Crystal and Joseph Shatley of Lenoir; two sons and daughters in law, John and Kim Barlow of Lenoir, and Thomas and Jackie Barlow of Lenoir; Six granddaughters, Megan ?Me Me? Gragg of Lenoir, Kayla ?Kay Kay? Zimmerman of Lenoir, Callie ?Butt Monkey? White of Lenoir, Chelsea Barlow of Taylorsville, Candy Enloe of Lenoir, and Tiffany Walston of Lenoir; three grandsons, Justin Barlow of Lenoir, Jordan Barlow of Lenoir, and Lakken Watson of Lenoir; one great grandson, Hayden Enloe; he is also survived by five sisters, one brother, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A celebration of Mr. White?s life will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the Blue Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Winkler officiating. The burial will take place at the North Wilkesboro City Cemetery in Wilkes County at 3:00 PM following the service. Pallbearers will be Jason Lackey, Tony Barlow, James ?Peanut? Watson, Gene Wood, Jeff Greene, and Micheal Greene. The family will receive friends Monday, August 31, 2009 from 6:00 until 9:00 at the Blue Ridge Baptist Church.
