Donna Kay Shoun Cribbs

Donna Kay Shoun Cribbs, age 58, passed away on June 15, 2023 at her residence in Greensboro, NC.   She was born on June 8, 1965 in Caldwell County to the late Joe Shoun and Carol Shoun Holler.

Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, are her daughter, Brooke Szitas and husband Steve of Charlotte, NC, son Chase Rideout of Greensboro NC, daughter Savannah Cribbs of New York City, grandson Caden Rushing-Ward of Holly Springs, NC, sisters, Teresa Shoun and husband Brian Fox, Kim Setzer and husband Keith, both of Lenoir and niece, Madison Setzer of Atlanta Georgia.

Donna attended UNC- CH and graduated from UNC Wilmington with a degree in Nursing. Donna had a long nursing career with Moses H. Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

Donna enjoyed reading mystery books, watching classic 90’s movies, listening to music and taking long walks.

The family will have a private celebration of life service.
