Donna Price Cardwell

Donna Price Cardwell, 70, of Lenoir, passed away on April 19, 2022. Donna was born in Caldwell County on April 5, 1952 to the late James and Florence Price. She was married to Charles Cardwell Jr. for 39 years. Donna worked in the furniture industry before becoming a homemaker. She was like a mother to all of her nieces, nephews, and other children. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend that will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her four sisters: Gail Bentley, Sylvia Laney, Cheryl Miller and Pat Minton; and one brother: Roger “Buck” Cooke. In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her three sisters: Sandra Brown and husband Randy; Sue Blevins; and Lisa Ruppert and husband David. She is survived by her two brothers: Johnny Price and wife Debbie and David Price and girlfriend Faith. She is survived by a special nephew Steve Price and her special “adopted daughter” Amanda Higgins. Donna is survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Charles Cardwell Sr and Willa Dean Cardwell; and her sisters-in-law: Joy Aldridge and Jill Eckard. She is survived by numerous other extended family members. The family will have a memorial service held at Evans Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 12:00 pm.
