Donald Ray Suddreth

Valdese, NC – Mr. Donald Ray Suddreth, age 64, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born in Cairo, WV on January 2, 1948 to the late Horace Suddreth and Betty Clark Suddreth. He was married to Debra Burgess Suddreth. He was Husband, Father, Papa, and a good man - he was a kind man. He will be missed most tenderly, “at rest here at home”. His childhood was spent in Lenoir and Charlotte. He attended Kings Creek School and later moved to Riverside, CA before returning home in 1997. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna; sister, Jana; and his Aunt Lillie. Other than his wife he is survived by his step-mother, Edith Triplett Suddreth; sister, Nancy Lewis of Charlotte; six sons and one daughter; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Pritchard officiating.
