Donald Wayne Brown

Donald “Donnie’ Wayne Brown, age 63, of Lenoir, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice in Lenoir. Born July 27, 1953 in Estherville, Iowa, Donnie was a son of the late Ernest and Joyce King Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Brown and Beverly Christopher; and a niece, Heather Smith. Survivors include two brothers, Ken Brown of Lenoir and Ron Brown (wife Jan) of Marquis, Iowa; a sister, Linda Smith of Washington State; a very special nephew, Phillip Christopher (wife April) and his family; two nieces Jenifer Danger and Amanda Littlejohn; two nephews, Billy Cannon (wife Kelly) and Steven Christopher (wife Amy); Donnie is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial service for Donnie will be private and held at Northside Baptist Church on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Hickory.
