Diane Harmon

Diane Spears Harmon, age 66, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Caldwell County on November 13, 1957 to the late James and Nellie Calloway Spears.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved the Lord and her church family. For more than 40 years she traveled with her church singing and presenting the drama, I Looked All Over Heaven For You.” Diane enjoyed traveling to the mountains, the beach and spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Reverend Roger Harmon, Sr.

Diane is survived her son, Reverend Roger Harmon; daughter, Martha Rose and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Heaven Holsclaw and husband, Dathan; Madison Blevins and husband, Caleb; Jeffery Rose; Blake Rose; and Allison Harmon; great-grandchildren, Dante Holsclaw; Harmony Holsclaw and a great-grandson arriving soon; brothers, Allen Spears; Jerry Spears; Tommy Spears; and many other family members.

A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at East Hudson Baptist Church on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 12:00 noon with Reverend David Crump, Reverend Mark Moody and Reverend Roger Harmon officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service.
