Diana Carol Yates

Diana Carol Yates, age 77, passed away Saturday, July 3 2021 after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Yates Clearwater and her husband Jeffrey Clearwater; two grandson's, Christopher Lawrence and Jacob Yates; two brothers, Brent Walsh and wife Linda, Pastor Steve Walsh and wife Sharon; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is preceeded in death by her mother, Reba Jean Walker Walsh; father, Mack Edward Walsh; husband, Boyce Yates; and brother, Danny Mack Walsh. Diana was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, and sister as well as a good friend to many. She loved working in her garden and taking care of her flowers. Her little piece of Heaven on earth was her back porch. A 11:00 AM memorial service to honor her memory will be held at Evans Funeral Service Chapel in Lenoir with Pastor Steve Walsh officiating on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
