Dennis Crouse

Lenoir – Dennis Keith Crouse, age 53, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016. He was born in Burke County on March 7, 1963 to J.B.Crouse and the late Joan Prestwood Crouse. Dennis was married to Joy Terrell Crouse of the residence. Dennis was a member of First Baptist Church of Lenoir. He was an avid cyclist and enjoyed riding the roads and trails around Lenoir with his friends. He was also a competition shooter. In addition to his wife and father, Dennis is survived by his daughters, Lauren Crouse and Brooke Crouse; brothers, Tom Crouse and wife, Sarah; Terry Crouse and wife, Sherry; sister, Diane Crouse; niece, Maggie Hamby; and nephews, Matt, Andy, Bryan and David Crouse; and Gavin Reed. A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at Concord Baptist Church on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 2:30 PM with Pastor Raymond Spann officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 prior to the service. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Caldwell Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
