Debra Ann King

Debbie King, age 61, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Magnolia Lane in Morganton. She was born in Watauga County on September 17, 1963 to the late Claude and Marylynn Hodges. She was married to Gary King of the residence.

She was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister and friend who loved shopping and spending time with her family. Debbie was an active member of Hartland Missionary Methodist Church and worked in the furniture industry for more than 44 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Amber Dula and partner, Brandon; granddaughters, Harley Haas and husband, Andrew; Zoe Woods; sister, Jeanette Nichols; step-mother, Sherry Hodges; step-son, Brian King; and step-grandson, Brandon King.

The family will receive friends at Hartland Missionary Methodist Church on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
