Debra Brown

Debra Seagle Brown, age 69, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on November 30, 1954 to the late Ross Seagle and Marcella Drum Seagle. She was married to Ricky Brown of the home for 52 years. She was an active member of Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Caitlyn Brown, sister, Peggy Kanupp and husband, Terry Kanupp.

Other than her husband, Debra is survived by her daughter Angela Waters and husband, Scotti; son, Kevin Brown and wife, Kristin; grandchildren, Bella Waters; Caden, Dawson, Lilly, Mason, Emma and Harper Brown.

A graveside celebration of Debra’s life will be held at Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 5:00 PM with Pastor Nicky Waters officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00, prior to the service, in the church sanctuary.
