Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Debra Ellen Bentley, age 54 of Lenoir, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. Born November 17, 1952 in Burke County, Mrs. Bentley was the daughter of the late Hillard Clyde Buckner and Sue Helton Buckner of Lenoir. She is the wife of Rodney Lee Bentley of Lenoir. Mrs. Bentley was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and had worked in the furniture industry. Other than her husband and mother, she is survived by her son, James Lee Bentley and wife Alena of Hampton, TN; her daughter, Elizabeth Moore of Lenoir; two brothers, Kenneth and Anthony Buckner, both of Lenoir; three sisters, Juanita Stout and husband Michael; Carol Beasley and Elizabeth Buckner, all of Lenoir; mother-in-law, Pauline Greene Bentley of Lenoir; brother-in-law, Gerald Bentley and wife Brenda of Lenoir; sister-in-law, Sandra Ann Bentley of Hickory and 6 grandchildren. Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law Malcolm E. Bentley. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 28, 2007 at Crestview Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Isaacs and James Lee Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 until 11 AM, one hour prior to the service at Crestview Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be: Michael Allen Stout, Jonathan Paul Stout, Michael Paul Stout, Bradley Christopher Moore, Gerald Everette Bentley, Jr. and Mike Smith.
