Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Deborah ?Debbie? Bradley, age 58, of Lenoir, died Monday, January 12, 2009 at her home. Born July 9, 1950 in Akron, Ohio, Debbie was a daughter of Gloria Neal Dunn of Lenoir and the late Harold Dunn. Debbie was a member of Flemings Chapel Baptist Church. She was retired from the Caldwell County Sheriff?s Department where she served as the first female detective and also as a DARE officer. Other than her mother she is survived by her dedicated husband of 40 years, C.L. Bradley; one daughter, Lisa Bradley Helton and husband Todd of Lenoir; 2 sons, Toby Bradley and wife Jessica of Hickory; Danny Bradley and wife Danielle of Lenoir; one brother, Danny Dunn and wife Mona of Wilkesboro and her pride and joy, the grandchildren; Nash Huffman, Kirsten Huffman, Dustin Helton, Cameron Helton, Rylan Bradley, Nick Bradley and Avery Bradley and her childhood friend, Linda Sandbury. A celebration of Debbie?s life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Graveside at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Steve Parker, Reverend Jim Lee and Reverend Cliff Ellis officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the ?Girl?s Club?, Kathy Hutchings, Vickie Kirby, Debbie Butler, Joy Cole, Jamie Watson, Deborah Norris, Sharon Teague Coggin, Cheryl Whittington, Kim Stokes and Rachel Estes.
