Dawn Howell

Hudson, NC- Missy Dawn Howell, age 22, of Granite Falls, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her home. Missy was born in Caldwell County December 14, 1991. She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents, Charles Roby Howell and Loretta Bolton Howell. Missy was a 2011 graduate of South Caldwell High School with dreams of being a CNA. She loved older people and babies, was fun spirited and had a strong will. She is survived by her mother, Brenda “Sissy” Howell and fiancé Jai McDougald of Hudson; her father, Tim Howell of Hickory; one brother, Timothy Howell of Hudson; Maternal Grandparents, Max and Louise Minton of Hudson; several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and other relatives. A celebration of Missy’s life will be held 4:00 PM Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Jerry Lingerfelt officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3:00 until 4:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service. The family has requested that memorials be made to help with Missy’s final expenses.
