David Laws

Lenoir – David Wayne Laws, 63, of Lenoir passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at his residence. David was born on September 21, 1956 in Caldwell County to the late Johnnie and Ruth Laws. David worked in construction for many years. David enjoyed spending time working on old vehicles, tractors, and spending time outdoors. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his wife Diane Berry Laws. David is preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Laws and his sister, Margaret Laws Shatley. David is survived by his brother Steve Laws and wife Linda and his sisters Linda Barrier and husband Charles, Brenda Laws, Glenda Laws, and Peggy Greene and husband Ronnie Earp. David is survived by numerous nephews and nieces. There will be a service held at Walking By Faith Baptist Church of Lenoir on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 3:00 officiated by Pastor Marvin Ford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Walking By Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be sent to Burke County Hospice and Palliative Care at 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.
