David Albert Jones

Lenoir, NC- David Albert Jones, age 22, of Lenoir, died Saturday, August 2, 2008. Born March 20, 1986 in Caldwell County, David was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Jones of the home. David attended Hibriten High School and enjoyed playing basketball. He was a member of Blessed Hope Advent Christian Church. Other than his parents, he is survived by his brother, Calvin Jones of the home; his maternal grandparents, Carl and Jewell Lewis of Boone; paternal grandmother, Lura Mae Jones of Lenoir; 3 uncles, Donnie Jones and wife Rita of Lenoir; Mickey Jones and wife Raneta of Granite Falls; Jeff Lewis and wife Sherry of Salisbury and one aunt, Tammy Clark Jones of Lenoir. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Albert Jones; one uncle, Dickey Jones and one aunt, Connie Kirby. A celebration of David?s life will be held 7:30 PM Thursday, August 7, 2008 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Rodney Raby and Reverend Charlie Woodring officiating. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday in the Boones Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:30 until 7:30, prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jones Family.
