David Lynn Holden

Cowboy Holden  Lenoir, NC- David “Cowboy” Lynn Holden, age 47, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 due to injuries received in an auto accident. Born, May 25, 1966 in Mecklenburg County, Cowboy was a son of the late John Lewis Holden and Mrs. Cora Bell Lee Holden of Lenoir.  Cowboy loved his Grandchildren, tractor shows, guns and horses.  Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Beatrice Savana Rader and John Winford Holden and a cousin, Daniel Webster Pope.  Surviving other than his mother is his wife, Lynn Holden of the home; two children, Daniel Keith Setzer of Hudson, Heather Dawn Alvarez and husband Carlos of Lenoir and their children, Carlito “Wormy” Alvarez, America Carolina “AC” Alvarez; and Cowboy’s siblings, Christopher Allen, Karen, Geraland, Annette and Paula.   A memorial service for Cowboy will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 7:00 PM.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 prior to the service.  Online condolences may be sent to the Holden Family at www.evansfuneralservice.com Evans Funeral Service & Crematory of Lenoir is serving the Holden Family.
