Danny Henson

Danny Lee Henson, age 73, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Amorem. He was born in Catawba County on November 26, 1949 to the late Pauline Setzer Henson.

Danny was a member of Mountain Grove Church where he was an active volunteer with the Food Pantry and he helped with the sound system during services.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kim Henson.

Danny is survived by his wife, Sarah Blankenship Henson, of the residence; son, Daniel Henson; grandson, Grayson Henson; and other family members.

A memorial service celebrating Danny’s life will be held at Mountain Grove Church on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 4:30 with Pastor Larry Pruitt officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 4:30 prior to the service.
