Daniel Bray

Lenoir – Daniel Bray, age 37, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Mobile, Alabama on January 18, 1979 to Michael Bray and Patricia Doyle Bosarge. Daniel was married to Kendal Alley Bray of the residence. Daniel was preceded in death by his step-father, Wade Bosarge. Daniel was a loving son, brother, father and husband. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, painting and writing. He was a member of Crest View Baptist Church, and considered the congregation his family. Although Daniel was born with Complex Congenital Heart Disease, those who knew him would say his heart was perfect because of his generosity, compassion, humor, and the love of Christ in him. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7. In addition to his wife and parents, Daniel is survived by his daughters, Kelly Bray and Rylee Bray of Indianola, Iowa; step-mother, Linda Bray; brother, Benjamin Bray; sister, Kristeena Bosarge; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Cynthia Alley; grandparents, Thelma “Mingo” Doyle; Clyde and Barbara Tuttle; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held at Crest View Baptist Church on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Michael Isaacs officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Colton O’Connor, Codi Nelson, Tim Mangum, Michael Pendergrass, Tony Whitt, Steve Robbins, Ricky Greene, Randy Hart and Ronnie Bentley.
