Daniel Wade Beach

Lenoir – Daniel Wade Beach Jr. of Carlton Springs Place, passed away on March 31, 2015 at Lenoir Healthcare.Daniel was born on March 16, 1925 to the late Daniel Wade Beach Sr. and wife Oma Smith Beach. Daniel was a United States Army Veteran, of Methodist Faith as well as a Charter Member for the Happy Valley Ruritan Club where he was active for nearly 50 years.Daniel was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching his Grandchildren participate in many different sports. Other than his parents Daniel is preceded in death by his wife; Louise Carlton Beach and four sisters; Hazel Kincaid, Lucille Haigler, Carrie Lee Haigler and Mabel Nelson. Daniel is survived by his sister; Irene Bentley, two daughters; Sylvia Sides and husband Danny Sides; Debra Pope and husband Roy Pope, five Grandchildren; Tracy Sides of Las Vegas, NV, Renee Sides of Charlotte, NC, Ray Pope of Asheboro, NC, STS1 (SS) Wade Pope and wife Jinky of Virginia Beach, VA, and Tyler Pope of Boone, NC.Daniel also has 3 Great Grandchildren: Makaela Sides, Carter Sides and Jeric Pope. A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 4:00PM.Pastor Jerry Rogers will be officiating.Internment will be at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the N.C. National Guard at the Caldwell County Veteran Honor Guard. The Beach family will be receiving friends and family in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service from 3:00PM – 4:00PM prior to the service on Saturday, April 4, 2015.
