Dale Calvin Miller

Hudson, NC- Mr. Dale Calvin Miller, age 88, passed away on May 9, 2014 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care. He was born in Caldwell County on September 14, 1925 to the late William David Miller and Lucretia Greene Miller. He was married to Dorothy Beane Miller of the residence for more than 54 years. Mr. Miller was of Baptist faith and a World War II Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl Miller, Julius Miller, Ralph Miller, Eugene Miller, Glen Miller, and Lester Miller; sisters, Irene Keller, Lucy Todd, and Margie Hollar. He is survived by his son, Kevin Miller and wife of Lenoir, Lisa; daughter, Donna Miller and fiancé, Peter Buddenbaum of Orlando, FL; sister, Maggie McCreary; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 1:00 until 2:00. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
