Dacy Devada Turnmire

Lenoir, NC- Dacy Devada Turnmire, age 67, of Lenoir, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006. A native of the Sampson Community of Watauga County, Miss Turnmire was a daughter of the late George Wesley and Roxie Ann Hall Turnmire. She is survived by two sisters, Doris Nelson and Della Oliver both of Lenoir; 17 Nieces and Nephews; 40 Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews and 34 Great-Great Nieces and Great-Great Nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Duel ?Pete? Turnmire and Dallas Turnmire; two sisters, Delma King and Dorothy Curtis and 4 nephews and 2 nieces. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Indian Hills Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Gibson and Reverend Keith Edmisten officiating. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 until 11, one hour prior to the service at the church.
