Cynthia Leigh Haas

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Leigh Tolbert Haas, age 62, of Lenoir, died Sunday, May 17, 2009 at her home. Born September 24, 1946 in Catawba County, Mrs. Haas was a daughter of the late Clarence and Alice Foster Tolbert and the wife of William “Bill” Joe Haas of the home.Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bobby Tolbert and Robert “Bob” Smith. Surviving other than her husband is her daughter, Dawn Haas Denlinger and husband Chris of Raleigh; one son, Ryan Haas and Sandra Tolbert of Lenoir; two brothers, Paul Tolbert and wife Wanda of Lenoir; Steve Tolbert of Lenoir and three Grandchildren, Jessica Dowling of Granite Falls; Lukas Haas of Granite Falls and Willa Claire Denlinger of Raleigh. Also surviving are Cindy’s two best friends, Carolyn Lawing and Judy Parsons. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Evans Funeral Service of Lenoir.
