Crystal Bristol

Crystal Lynn Bristol (O’Dell), 52, went home to be with Jesus on August 21, 2024. She was born February 25, 1972 in Rutherford County, NC. She was the spouse of the late Scottie Bristol, and she resided at her home in Granite Falls, NC.

Her parents were Debra Ann Coffey of Hudson, NC, the late Robert Coffey and the late James O’Dell.

In addition to her husband, dad and father, she is preceded in death by grandparents Harry Sprinkle, Gertrude Isaacs and Charles Coffey, Janie and Charles O’Dell.

Crystal was the Purchasing Agent at Broyhill for many years. Once she left Broyhill, she focused on her health. She recently was working for Jackson Hewitt tax services. Crystal was very active in selling Mary Kay and enjoyed helping women feel beautiful. If Crystal wasn’t at home watching True Crime documentaries, she was getting her nails and hair done,  planning her next trip to Wisconsin to see her daughter, son in law and grandbabies or, planning to visit her son and his girlfriend in Monroe, NC. She enjoyed spending time with her mom, Nanny and sisters.

Crystal will be remembered as the one to always speak her mind, take no crap from anyone, but would open her home and help those in need. Her dog Cooper was her best friend and support dog. Crystal’s grandbabies were her world and every chance she would get, she would go see them or talk with them. Crystal was of Baptist faith.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Amber Lynn Jump, spouse Jake of Wisconsin Dells, WI,  and her son Dallas Scott Bristol and girlfriend Carissa of Monroe, NC. Her grandchildren Jaxxston and Korbin Jump of Wisconsin Dells, WI, grandmother Viola Sprinkle of Rutherfordton, NC, four sisters, Kimberly Parsons and Jason of Conover, NC, Jennifer Stewart and Ryan of Lenoir, NC, Roberta Calhoun of Boone, NC, Angel Coffey of Fredricksburg, VA, One brother, Robert Coffey and Toni of Arizona, her dog Cooper and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Crystal’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Waitsel Beard officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
