Corene Holtsclaw Myers

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Corene Holtsclaw Myers, age 57, of Meadowlane Drive, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at her home. Born April 26, 1949 in Avery County, Mrs. Myers was a daughter of the late Jim and Louisa Barrier Holtsclaw and the wife of the late Earl Lee Myers. She attended Grandview Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Holtsclaw White and husband J.R. of Granite Falls; Revonda Myers Oliver and husband Gary Parsons of N. Wilkesboro; Melina Myers White of Lenoir; two sons, Howard Allen Holtsclaw of Lenoir; Steven Lynn Myers and wife Amanda of N. Wilkesboro; 2 brothers, James Marvin Holtsclaw of Elk Park; Frank A. Holsclaw and wife Michelle of Lenoir; one sister, Carolyn Holtsclaw Thacker of Granite Falls and 6 grandchildren. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her finance, Gary Steva Moody and a sister, Judy Holtsclaw Deal. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Evans Funeral Service of Lenoir.
