Connie Pennell Beaver

Lenoir, NC – Mrs. Connie Sue Pennell Beaver, age 61, of Lenoir, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 at her home. Born May 1, 1951 in Alexander County, Mrs. Beaver was a daughter of the late George Pennell and Mabel Phillips Laws. Mrs. Beaver was an avid lover of Elvis Presley’s music. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Caleb Green. Survivors include her husband, Floyd E. Beaver of the home; daughter, Virginia Ann Clark of Lenoir; 2 sons, Jerry Lee Clark and wife Tammy of Lenoir; James Allen “Jimbo” Clark and fiancé Maria Penley of Lenoir; 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Kaitlin, Alexis, Makayla, Catherine and one great-grandchild, Sarah. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Reverend Dennis Geouge and Reverend Rick Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Pallbearers will be: Darrin Smith, Garland Beaver, Jerry Beaver, Bo Bays, David Bays and Chad Langley.
