Lenoir, NC - Mr.  Commodore Laynous Enloe, age 71, of Lenoir, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Born September 30, 1941 in Caldwell County, Commodore was a son of the late Fred and Sadie Robinson Enloe. He was a member of Tri City Baptist Church where he was part of the Faith Sunday School Class. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the RA Group and training union. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry Enloe; a sister, Allene Enloe; and one brother, Clyde Enloe. Survivors include his wife, Anita J. Enloe of the Home; a son and daughter in law, William and Shannon Enloe of Hickory;  a sister and brother in law, Theresea and David Cannon of Rhodhiss; six brothers and sisters in law, Dennie and Wilma Enloe, Don and Annie Enloe, Frank and Jeanne Enloe, Gary Enloe all of Lenoir, Brent and Pat Enloe of Sawmills, and Conrad Enloe of Taylorsville; a grandson, Chandler Settlemyre ; a granddaughter, Amelia Enloe; two great grandchildren; Degen Nowlin and Raylen Nowlin; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Commodore’s life will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Byron E. Repass and Pastor Jim Hollar officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
